Multiple Types of Wood Species

The amount of bark is the primary factor determining the quality of bark removal. In addition, every effort is made to prevent the loss of wood from the bark to reduce unnecessary costs. Both factors must be taken into account in order to obtain the best possible economic result. In wood mills, economic considerations for plywood removal machines are important, as the amount of bark is a way of assessing the traction against the wood chips used in the production of pulp.

The properties of bark removal depend on the strength of the debarkers adhesion to the tree, the structure of the bark, the size and quality of the wood, and the conditions under which the bark is removed. The properties of different wood species differ; Due to environmental conditions, there can be large differences between species. Regardless of the type of wood, it is always more difficult to remove frozen and dried wood veneers, as the bond between the bark and the wood will be stronger.

In our 70-year history, we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge about peeling from around the world. We have experience in the removal of scales from all types of wood used in industry and excellent solutions for all needs, regardless of the type and conditions of wood. Thanks to our extensive experience, we can always point customers to the right dandruff removal solution.

Currently, most of the world’s timber production is concentrated on coniferous (ie coniferous) species such as spruce, pine, spruce and their subspecies. In addition, many other conifer species, such as pine, hemlock and Douglas spruce, produce large (but small) quantities of wood. The strength of the bond between the bark and the wood varies throughout the year (fresh to frozen), but conifer species are generally considered to be easier to remove the bark. We have decades of experience in removing scales from all types of conifers around the world.

Most disk screens are used as “scaling” screens, where the main function is to remove large pieces of material. This is usually the first screen in the forwarding / sorting system. Another function of the disc sieves is to use them as a “pig” or “dump” sieve before the grinder, which aims to remove particles smaller than the target size of the pipe material, thus releasing the pig and unloading it.

When used to process wood or “pig fuel”, disc sieves can be exposed to large amounts of contamination, including: sand, gravel, dirt, stones, snow, ice, minerals and frozen blocks. It must therefore have a durable construction with wear-resistant steel discs.
