The region is relatively insignificant when it comes to land mass, however its steep fertile slopes are a paradise for our finicky Kona Coffee trees (it helps that they are well protected from bugs by the volcanic mountains). By combining the unique tree variety with a specific growing region and the resulting high costs involved with farming this crop, we have something special called Kona coffee!
