Scott Nordheimer is a Senior Advisor and co-founder of Urban Atlantic. An innovator in the field of public-private finance for more than 50 years, Mr. Nordheimer has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of successful new business ventures and activities including HHUD finance, New Market Tax Credits, EB-5, clean energy finance, and new service activities. Mr. Nordheimer's career began with the Foundation for Cooperative Housing, where he was responsible for the development of low-income housing cooperatives. In the following years, he ran a development and investment company with a portfolio including more than 13,000 condominium units and held investments in 4,000 apartment units, five hotels and 600,000 square feet of commercial office space.
Mr. Nordheimer holds a BA in Political Science from Parsons College and is a former instructor of real estate development at the Harvard School of Business. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Washington DC Economic Partnership.
