ABB to join CIIE 2022 and signs up for next year’s expo

On September 16, Lars Eckerlein, Country Holding Officer of ABB (China) Ltd. was invited to join the “50-day Countdown of the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) and the 6th Signing Ceremony” held in Shanghai. “CIIE is the symbol of China’s drive to expand opening-up and promote high-quality economic development in the new era. This year will be the fifth year for ABB to participate in the expo since the first CIIE held in 2018 to showcase its cutting-edge technologies from across its portfolio and deepen relationships with local customers and partners. ABB benefits from the substantial visibility of this important event and the growth opportunities of the Chinese market, supporting our ongoing commitment and confidence to invest in China. This year, under the theme of Partner of Choice for Sustainable Development, ABB will bring its latest digital technologies and innovations with focus on clean energy, smart manufacturing, smart city and smart transportation to CIIE 2022 which is set to kick off on November 5. ABB will also introduce its development and application of AI technologies, further powering the transformation and sustainable development of energy, transportation, infrastructure and industry sectors.

ABB exhibits at the expo will include GoFaTM CRB 15000 Welding Station, IRB 1010 Mystery Box Picking Station with Robot Control Mate Software, ABB Ability™ Smart Energy Management System, ABB Ability™ Energy and Asset Manager, Smart Building and Smart Home Solution, 480 kW High Power Charging, high-efficiency motors, drive and process automation solutions. ABB UNIREC H2 Power Rectifier for Hydrogen Electrolyzers will make their debut at the expo, supporting the development of China’s hydrogen industry and clean energy. Visitors are welcomed at the ABB Booth (4.1H C5-01 Hall) at CIIE 2022 from November 5 to 10.
