I must kill the Canadian thistle that has been growing in the areas I would like to build in my vegetable gardens. I've mentioned in the past that I don't garden completely organically. One of the main reasons lies in Canada's thistle. I'm not able to eliminate this invasive plant. The removal of them from the ground is probably the worst option you have as the root splits and two thistles appear on the spot that one was. They seem impervious to bleach and boiling water. I've even tried regular https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lily-plant-identification/id1570145257. Today I purchased super-strength Roundup for tough to get rid of weeds. The suckers will surely die.
But that is super-strength will destroy the plants I'd like to kill in the same way as it'll (hopefully) eliminate the thistle. There is a light breeze this morning. This is why I'm making use of a soda bottle to ensure that the Roundup will only be applied to the thistle and not anywhere elsewhere.
Designing a soda bottles cover is simple. You'll require a standard soda bottle made of plastic and scissors.
Take off the cap of the beverage bottle.
Take off the lower part of the soda bottle.
Set the soda bottle in the middle of the desired target plant.
Spray the deadly plant toxin in the bottle via the top opening.
The soda bottle keeps the restricted to the weed. You don't have to be concerned about the possibility of Roundup mist settling on plants that you would like to protect.
