In order to satisfy developers' expectations for performance-specific testing, WeTest introduced perfdog, a professional performance optimization and improvement tool for all mobile platforms. Since July 2018, the tool has been accessible to all Tencent teams. Perfdog version 6.0 was commercially marketed in September 2021 after five significant iterations.
In its most recent version 6.0, perfdog worked with Imagination to develop the feature of getting fundamental information of the PowerVR GPU in order to better ensure that developers have a high-class RD environment and product quality (adding more than 80 GPU Counters across all platforms and architectures).
