1. A Smarter Front Door
Masonite Smart Door
The Masonite smart door features strategically situated motion-activated lighting alongside a Yale door lock and Ring video doorbell. Image: Masonite

Masonite debuted the first residential smart door. A collaboration between the door manufacturer, Ring, and Yale, the M-Pwr Smart Door is the first residential exterior door to integrate power, lights, sensors, a video doorbell, and a smart lock into the door system. 2. Halio Smart Glass
Halio Inc. promoted its AI-controlled smart glass, Halio Smart Glass |Electrochromic (EC) Device. Halio’s AI determines the maximum amount of daylight that can enter a building in real-time to deliver energy savings that reduce carbon emissions by up to 20%. A next-generation, home automation solution for existing sliding doors and windows. SmartSlydr by Lychee Things is a discreet DIY system to open and shut sliding windows and doors remotely using your voice or an app. And if you want your pet to come and go as it pleases, a “Pet Pass” collar attachment will tell the door when it’s nearby, then send you a notification. 4. WAAY Door Smart System
All it takes is a wave of your hand, the touch of your smartphone, or a simple voice command to open and close your door. The Waay Door Smart System removes the need to manually open any internal pocket door, and it integrates with your smart home life. Details here.

5. Sengled – Zigbee Smart Window and Door Sensor
Sengled released a number of products at the Show including the Zigbee Smart window and door sensor, the Innovative Health Bulb and a motion sensor for controlling smart lights. Details here.

6. Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor
Ring’s existing home security device lineup now includes the Glass Break Sensor. It can detect break-in attempts through any glass windows or doors. The device is mounted to a wall, ceiling, or placed on furniture and can detect breaking glass from up to 25 feet away, sending a smart alert to the appointed smartphone. Details here.
