Coca Cola Championship Preview Coca Cola Championship Preview
The newCoca Cola Championshipseasonkicks offtomorrow as we see Middlesbrough taking on fellow promotion hopefuls Sheffield United. This season could be the tightest yet. The League is now compacted with the likes of Newcastle and West Brom. Along with other contenders such as Sheffield United, Reading, QPRand Ipswich of who should mount a promotion charge. Also it will be interesting to see what the likes of Swansea, Blackpool and Watford do with their new managers in charge. Sowithout further or do here is my Preview of the Coca Cola Championship season.AutomaticContenders I think that West Brom will be the team to beat this season. Even though they failed in the Premier League in 09/10 they always prove to be toogood in the Championship. They are also under new management with Roberto Di Matteo in charge, and he has brought in a whole new bunch of players to the Hawthorns. This league will surely bring the best out of new signings Simon Cox and Maurice Ffrench Jersey Reuben Reid, as it is a big step for those young guns. Also the likes of ChrisBrunt and Robert Koren will play big parts this season. Also the likes of Newcastle and Middlesbrough will be real contenders aswell. Many people think they both could fail this season; however Imnot sure about that. Newcastle with Andy Carroll up front and with Damien Duff on the wing they will be a handful in 09/10. With Middlesbrough aswell new signings Leroy Lita and Mark Yeates could take the league by storm this season. Boro also have a number of youngsters who could help them. Matthew Bates and Jonathan Grounds willcertainly be on show this season.Ofcourse Sheffield United andReading will be contenders again this season. Both mi sed out on promotion last season as Burnley took that Los Angeles Chargers Sleepwear Underwear all importantpromotion spot. Sheffield United has spent big this summer and if they gel as a team they could even knick an automatic promotion spot. Ched Evans and Darius Henderson could be a lethal partnership for the Blades this season. On the other side, Reading willno doubt be one of the leading chases this season. Shane Longwill get his chance this season asKevin Doyle departedto Wolves. Long with Noel Hunt could be banging in the goals for funin 09/10. Also Reading hasgot an impre sive defence, Liam Rosenior, Ivar Ingimar son and Matthew Mills will be hard to get past this season.PLAY-OFF HOPEFULLS Ipswich should be deemed for a play-off place in 09/10. Roy Keane did well at Sunderland so why cant he do the same at Ipswich. If Roy Keane gets Ipswich playing as a team they could even claim an automatic spot. Jonathan Walters will again play a big part this season. Also fellow midfielders Lee Martin and Owen Garvan are worth watching this season. However they could struggle on the goal scoring front. Counago and Stead might not be able to do the job, so therefore another Striker might have to be brought in.We cant forget that QPR could also be up their season. Big things have been expected of them since the Italian owners arrived, but they havent shown up to there expectation. However with Routledge and Taarabt feeding in the cro ses, the likes of Helguson, Agyemang and new signing Pellicori should easily bang them in. Cardiff is also contenders for Los Angeles Chargers Jackets a play-off place. Michael Chopra has been signed permanently which is a brilliant thing. Also if Cardiff keepsthe likes of McCormack and Ledley theyshould get off to a really good start. However this time they cant float away at the end of the season.Lastly wecould expect the likes of Nottingham Forest, Leicester City and Swansea City to be in the mix at the end of the Championship season. Forest has spent big and has a lot of attacking options to choose from. Adebola, Earnshaw, Garner, Blackstock and McGoldrick all could fill the front line for Forest this season. Leicester City also could spring a surprise. If Fryatt finds his goalscoring boots, Leicester could rocket up that League this season. Also Lloyd Dyer and Richie Wellens could be big a sets this season for the Foxes. Swansea are another contender, with the likes of Pintado, Bodde, Dobbie and Nathan Dyer, Swansea could find themselves in a play-off place this season.Relegation Strugglers Many teams could find themselves down Chris Rumph II Jersey near the Relegation Zone this season. Barnsley for one will defiantly struggle this season. The Tykes defence is low on numbers and will certainly shed goals. However they need Jamal Campbell-Ryce, Iain Hume and Jon Macken to play well this season. Or it will be doom and gloom for Barnsley.Plymouth could also be on tender hooks all through the season. Sturrock and his team could well struggle to adapt again this season. They have got good players in the squad but they dont perform well enough. Jamie Mackie, Ashley Barnes and Bradley Wright-Phillips need to find their form for Plymouth or it could be curtains for them at the end of May. Also seaside club Blackpool could struggle this season. New manager Ian Holloway hasnt brought in much players for this campaign which is a worrying sign. The squad struggled last season when they didnt have the loan signings to boost their performances, and at the start of this season they are in the same boat. Not many signings so simply they will struggle.Lastly Scunthorpe United will be real relegation favourites this season. They struggled in the Championship last time and they will probably do the same again. Hooper and Hayes was a great strike force in League 1 but in the Championship it could be a different story. It will be a miracle if Scunthorpe stay up but they have got the players to do so.THATS IT, THERE IS MY PREVIEW OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON.
