Titans free agent spotlight: OT Ty Sambrailo

Over the next few weeks, wel be taking a closer look at the Titans free agent class. One by one, wel provide some basic details on the player before making an argument for both sides why the Titans should, or shouldn re-sign that player. Wel also offer our final verdict and a prediction to go along with it https://www.denverproshoponline.com/Essang_Bassey_Face_Mask-420. Name: Ty SambrailoPosition: offensive tackleAge: 28Why the Titans should keep Sambrailo: Sambrailo was signed to a one-year deal last offseason to serve as a bit of a Dennis Kelly replacement in the role of the team swing tackle after Kelly was thrust into the starting five Jeremy Cox Hoodie. Sambrailo was forced into the starting lineup at the left tackle position when Taylor Lewan went down with a season ending knee injury. The results were average. This team has seen a lot worse at the offensive tackle position this decade. Sambrailo was at times, quite serviceable. He had some stinkers, but he rarely handicapped the offense, which is all you can really ask for from a backup tackle. Sambrailo eventually went down with his own season ending injury. You know what youe going to get out of Sambrailo if he forced to play, and you can do a lot worse. Why the Titans should let Sambrailo walk: Sambrailo was actually out played by third string left tackle David Quessenberry. Quessenberry replaced Sambrailo in the lineup and gave the team better results than Sambrailo did Alexander Johnson Hoodie. Alternatively, this team needs to start thinking about the future. Youe going to see some changes on the starting five within the next two or three years, and the team would be wise to start developing young players on the backend of this position group as opposed to relying on several aging veterans. Final verdict: This is tough. Sambrailo was a decent backup player who performed acceptably when forced into action. I ultimately lean towards letting him walk and spending a Day 3 draft pick on a developmental tackle. Prediction: The Titans let Sambrailo walk and attempt to get younger at the backup tackle position. With fellow veteran Quessenberry already under contract for the 2021 season, there really not much reason to bring Sambrailo back. What are your thoughts Should the Titans re-sign Sambrailo Leave your opinion in the comments.
