However, many fans have had problems with the Anima system over the years. The Anima system being the game's currency for purchasing different cosmetics and vanity items as well as upgrading their Covenant. Originally, Blizzard introduced an Anima vendor that gamers can go to, where gamers can spend their extra currency on tradeskill goods. However, many felt like this wasn't quite the solution they were hoping for.
One of the most significant complaints gamers had was the previous cap on Anima. The last cap was much smaller and essentially forced players to purchase cosmetics they didn't want, or their earned Anima would go to waste. Now, the current cap for Anima in World of Warcraft has increased to 200.000.

These changes come as part of the 9.1.5 Update patch for World of Warcraft. This update brought many quality of life changes to the game that fans have requested for years. In response, many are pleased with this cap increase, but they hope that Blizzard continues to make improvements to the Anima system. Some fans are hoping Blizzard also creates a way to transfer excess Anima to alternate accounts and other covenants that the player's character is in.

Other fans are also calling to rework or altogether remove Grateful Offering currency as an additional requirement for purchasing cosmetics. Many are tired of the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands trend of two different currency types to buy some items, feeling as if it only adds more pointless grinding. Fans hope that Blizzard takes one of the types away, even if it has to raise the amount to purchase it.

If gamers still feel that the cap isn't high enough and are having trouble storing their Anima currency, luckily, there are ways around it. One tip is purchasing 5,000 Anima amounts, switching covenants, and selling the same amount to get the Anima back. This method may sound tedious, but it is easier than managing considerable portions in the bank. However, gamers should possibly hold onto their items before switching covenants in 9.1.5 if they are maxed out since they would lose about 165,000 Anima and have almost nothing to spend it on.
