Last fall, one channel called SOFTDRINKTV uploaded a 14-minute film with buy madden 22 coins the title "The Madden with the Worst Madden of All Time," then a week later with a 19-minute version titled "Madden NFL 22 isn't Good - Review." Like every subculture, Madden has its own expressions of slang. For precise throws, they tend to be "lasers" (self-explanatory). A good throw is usually one that is a "dot" and you'll get "dotted up" -- which in turn transformed into "dart" (less clear). Similarly, strong defensive coverage was previously "bagged," though recently I've heard YouTubers declaring that they were "booked." One only one that makes sense according to my understanding is "mossing" someone, which is when players leap over corner to catch the ball from the air, influenced to Randy Moss.

But , in reality, hate for Madden appears to be just as big a part of the society, even if it does appear to be a bit performative at times. The subreddit , r/Madden, is nearly exclusively "rants" about why the game doesn't work. It's usually is a video of a glitch or bug. The #Madden22 tag on TikTok is an equal part highlights, and equal parts calling out the faulty plays that EA ought to fix.

However, in the event that you hate a video game so of much, then why would you play it all year long?

For Andrew Belton, Madden earns him his keep. He's been playing since the 2005 Madden but more importantly streaming on YouTub since last year's Madden. The channel has expanded to the point where you can earn a living out of it, enough to pay for the move from his parents' house and to a home in Brooklyn. (He also sells ebooks containing Madden tips on his Patreon account, which, he estimates, will account for a third of his revenue.)

The trash-talking concept didn't originate with Belton. While he's certainly the most prominent person doing it for Madden on YouTube for Madden the trash-talking videos are commonplace in other sports games such as NBA 2K. (Another kind of game Belton dislikes: "I thought Madden was an absolute scream but 2K actually frustrates me... I can't play it; that's because of how it upsets myself.")

The channel Belton plays one or two games each week, and throws the ones that are too boring to be posted. Finding the right trash talkers is a nitty-gritty process. "I've observed with these trash-talkers that the more they talk, the worse they do at playing," Belton says. In order to make good videos, Belton requires an opponent to be a good player and to be as offensive as they can.

But outside of making videos to promote his channel on YouTube, Belton isn't a fan of playing Madden to play for fun. Most of the time, his day is being edited. The time for a game is less than an hour, while editing the video takes eight hours.

He tells me he's planning to create a new channel -- one where he can play different games.

"I love Call of Duty: Warzone. I'm just beginning to get back into Fortnite. I'm constantly getting beat every time I play however, I'm loving it. And then I want to test other games like PC games, scary games, etc," he says.

Unfortunately the game he's skilled at -that one in which He is able to consistently blow away his rivals -- is still Madden.

I ask him if it's possible that he's been a little disappointed by mut 22 coins the game as it's his source of income or if he actually believes it's the quality and the play.
