In Sony's most recent financial statements, it stated that games available for PS4 will be gone in 2025. However, this doesn't mean the older PS4 games will not be available for purchase D2R Ladder Items, but Sony has stated that it will have finished releasing new games on PS4 by the time this happens. Instead 2025, Sony has predicted that the bulk of the revenue generated by games will stem from PlayStation 5, with titles that are available on PC and mobile also bringing in the other half of its profits.
In general, this probably shouldn't be too surprising considering that the PS5 will be Sony's main area of focus in the months to follow. Still, it's worth stressing that even at this moment the PS4 is a device that Sony continues to develop and releasing games on. In fact, this year's biggest PlayStation game, God of War Ragnarok is scheduled to release on PS4 at the time it launches.
In the near future, Sony will likely end making a big announcement related to the PS4 and the official end of its life cycle.
