Saints coach Sean Payton was impre sed byTeddy Bridgewater's play Sunday.

Bridgewater, making only his second start since suffering a career-threatening leg injury with the Vikings in August 2016, completed 19 of his 27 pa ses for 177 yards with two touchdowns in the victory. Bridgewater said he was emotional before the game.

As a quarterback, when you can throw him a screen and you just watch the play happen, it's like, 'Man this guy, he's a bad man.' We're glad he's on our team and he's one of the leaders on offense."
