Saints coach Sean Payton was impre sed byTeddy Bridgewater's play Sunday.

Bridgewater, making only his second start since suffering a career-threatening leg injury with the Vikings in August 2016, completed 19 of his 27 pa ses for 177 yards with two touchdowns in the victory. Bridgewater said he was emotional before the game.

"I was just thinking about the proce s, from the time I was injured, up until now," Bridgewater . "Just thinking about all the ones who believed in me and just being back on this stageand getting Isaiah McDuffie Jerseys to show how faithful God is, all my emotions were just running at the same time."

Saints running backAlvin Kamara was a top target for Bridgewater, finishing with nine receptions for 92 yards and a score. He also added 69 Green Bay Packers Hats yards and another touchdown on the ground.

"He's like a human joystick," Bridgewater said about Kamara. "You give him the ball, he's spinning, he's juking, he's bouncing off of guys. As a quarterback, when you can throw him a screen and you just watch the play happen, it's like, 'Man this guy, he's a bad man.' We're glad he's on our team and he's one of the leaders on offense."
