What is the date for going to be the next Double XP event in RuneScape? We witnessed our last Double XP event of 2021 after the previous one was over in November. The last couple of years, there have been only four events per year OSRS Gold. This is for obvious reasons. They need to be huge!
As we pondered the next event, we guessed we would expect it to happen in February. That proved to be the case. . As far as 2014, there's been an additional double or bonus XP occasion at the moment. If you look at how the last two events have worked, we wouldn't expect to see any other changes given that Jagex appears to have perfected this formula.
Players receive 48 hours of Double XP points to benefit from over about 10 days. There was one exception where the event lasted for 21 days but the 10 day events tend to attract big player numbers due to their small size.
For those who do not in the know, RuneScape is a huge deal. A darned big deal. At least to those in the MMORPG world. Now entering its 21st year it's among the largest MMORPGs available and probably the best free one. The game's theme is high fantasy, with an equally strong medieval theme that runs through the game. RuneScape is very significant to me personally due to three small reasons: being the first MMORPG I ever played; the first game I can be described as addicted to; and the first game that I discovered which could be described as 'online' but is far from being the most enjoyable. It's still three significant gaming milestones that should not be ignored.
After a brief, basic instruction on the appropriately called Tutorial Island, I found myself stuck in the sluggish but quite enjoyable riverside town of Lumbridge.
