Combat in Elyon is a breath of fresh air to anyone who has experienced MMOs with similar gameplay and similar skills, as well as boring combat, whether PvE or PvP. This is why it's recommended to be in a player's best interests to learn about combat before diving into something like PvP. Luminus is basically Elyon's personal system. In the game's lore the Luminus are made up of starlight and mana, and are distinct from nine different types of constellations.
