Playa Herradura

Playa Mar Azul
If you're looking for a relaxing, secluded beach, Playa Mar Azul is the place for you. The beach itself is a mixture of sand and stones, with a smooth entry into the water. The beach has limited amenities, and several buildings line the shore. It tends to get busy during high season, but it's well worth the trip. There are some great options for families.

Playa San Juanillo
If you love white sand and turquoise waters, you will love Playa San Juanillo. This beach is ideal for snorkeling and relaxing, and the clear water makes for the perfect day at the beach. The beach is separated into two parts by an arena bank, so you can swim at either end. From the village of San Juanillo, you can take a tour, stay in a cabin, or try out some of the many local activities.

Playa Nosara
If you are interested in investing in real estate, then Playa Nosara, Costa Rica may be the perfect place for you. Nosara has been consistently ranked among the Top 57 Places to Live Invest in the Tropics for several years. This idyllic beach community is a unique combination of North American culture and pristine Costa Rican wilderness. Not surprisingly, the town has become an exclusive destination for the rich and famous, including Woody Harrelson and Liv Schreiber. Since real estate is so in demand, prices in Nosara have soared.

Playa Montezuma
A long, white-sand beach is the highlight of this town on the southern Nicoya Peninsula. Afterwards, you can hike along a trail to the nearby Playa Grande, a popular surf beach. Located close to Montezuma is the turtle hatchery and sanctuary at the Romelia Wildlife Reserve. If you're looking for a little more natural beauty, head to the Montezuma Waterfall, a series of cascades and natural pools.

Playa Linda
Playa Linda is a local secret near Dominical, jaco casa. Though Playa Linda is undeveloped, it does have a small grocery store and restaurant, El Patio. Whether you plan to stay for the day or enjoy a night out, be sure to be aware of the dangers of the zee. Always carry appropriate spulls. If you're planning to stay in the area, you can check out Matapalo or nearby accommodations.

Tortuguero
A trip to Tortuguero is not difficult. It's located in the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, roughly 60 miles or 95 kilometers north of San Jose. You can reach it by domestic flight, which takes 25 minutes, or take a taxi. If you're travelling by car, you can drive up to a certain point and leave it in a parking lot. Otherwise, you can contact the property for instructions.

Nosara
There are numerous reasons to visit Nosara Beach Costa Rica. Nosara is located in Central Standard Time, which means it gets dark at 6 p.m. Each day. Despite the close proximity to the equator, there are very few street lights. Nonetheless, the area is quite busy, and many attractions open early in the morning. Regardless of what time you visit, you can expect to experience a high quality Costa Rica vacation.
