Before You Go
When traveling, I love to find new spots and explore! With more than six million square miles of land in the United States alone, it can be a little daunting to figure out where to go first. Some people like to rely on the old standbys such as New York City or Boston; but what about a lesser-known destination that has all the bells and whistles of a major city? Where should you go on your next vacation? Read below for my pick!

A Quick Guide to My Favorite Places
Discovering new places near me is one of my favorite hobbies. You never know what cool or off-the-beaten-path spots you'll find and you're always going to stumble upon something awesome. Here are some of my favorite places to visit near me!
1) Ride along with vintage cars at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY.
2) Catch an aerial view of New York City with a helicopter tour through Hudson River Air in Englewood, NJ. 2) Watch a live comedy show at Flicks in New York City's Upper West Side.
3) Get cozy and read a book at one of these amazing cafes I love. Or explore a nearby bookstore, they're all filled with treasures!

Granada, Spain
When most people think of Granada, they think of the Alhambra. Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, this Moorish castle is home to some of Spain's most beautiful architecture. But don't overlook the quaint beauty and rich history of the city center or its famed cathedral! Even if you can only stay for a few hours, you'll be amazed by how much this small city has to offer.

Seattle, WA
Seattle is in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It was founded in 1851 and quickly became a major logging and mining area, with logging largely giving way to high-tech industries by the 1980s เที่ยวไหนดี. Seattle was one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. during this time as well, due to its proximity to resources and large local workforce.

Paris, France
Visiting Paris is a rite of passage. As one of the most visited cities in the world, there's more than enough to see and do to keep you busy for a few days. If you're interested in architecture, visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower, or Sacre Coeur. Or if museums are your thing, get cultured at the Louvre or Rodin Museum. Want to have some fun? Head to Disneyland or Disney World in France -the place with just as much charm and character as its stateside counterpart!

Edinburgh, Scotland
One of the oldest capitals in the world, Edinburgh is a must-see destination. Home to landmarks like the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh has plenty of picturesque views and charming neighborhoods for travelers to explore. Plus, there are also plenty of great activities for every interest on offer. When you need a break from wandering through scenic parks or following in the footsteps of famous past residents like Sir Walter Scott or David Hume, hop on an incredible Scottish highland train ride!

Cusco, Peru
The Big Apple has a nickname for a reason: it's big, bright, and full of possibilities. Just plan your trip right, and you'll find it to be one of the most exciting places in the world. Celebrate your birthday with one of the famous Broadway shows or catch up on culture at one of the many museums in town. And before you go, don't forget to grab some delicious pizza!

Florence, Italy
Rising up above the skyline in Florence, Italy is the iconic white dome of Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. Built between 1294 and 1468, this historic structure is one of the most breathtaking places to visit near me. Inside, visitors can marvel at frescoes by Giotto and work by other Florentine masters. For a magnificent view of all that Florence has to offer, venture to the top of Brunelleschi's Campanile (which you'll recognize from its brilliant gold coloring). From up here, you'll have incredible views over centuries-old palazzi buildings and out to Leonardo da Vinci's Statue of David - another favorite stop for those seeking stunning architecture.
