Today, you'll generally find me having fun playing Quake as well as Half-Life or hanging out on  OSRS Gold Team Fortress 2 - games which are in full force, leave their mark and are gone quickly. It's wonderful to play games that you enjoy, and then go on to forget about it quickly, instead of having to worry about how many pieces of wood I have in my inventory or the location I'll be fishing during the next session.

However, I'm still missing a bit of the endless grind and long-term involvement (and pain) which comes with RuneScape. In its third edition called 'RuneScape 3' (from 2013) with added content and a graphical overhaul, there's a glimmer of hope that I'll revisit it just to see how things are going on, just as I would do with an old friend.

Publisher Jagex revealed earlier this year that RuneScape would release early access on mobile sometime this summer. From today, everyone can take a look at the long-running MMORPG on iOS as well as Android.

RuneScape is available for free, however subscribers get access to more adventures, skills, and bonuses. You can check out the membership at no cost with a an initial seven-day trial. Mobile apps support cross-play and cross-progression on PC and PC, which allows you to change platforms and resume from where you left off.

This doesn't Old School RuneScape, a version that's based on a build of 2007. That's been available on iOS and Android since 2018. It's the complete RuneScape that Jagex is constantly improving over the past 20 years.

There's no doubt that there's a demand for RuneScape across iOS and Android. More than 1.8 million players registered to Buy RuneScape Gold play the games, which come with a mobile-friendly user interface with revamped menus including icons, text, and textures. Combat mechanics have been altered for iOS along with Android.
