Candidates selected to the council will be able to post in a separate forum and directly respond to discussions and discussions initiated with the help of members from the WoTLK Classic Gold development team and various community managers. Blizzard declares that "separate discussions within smaller communities of members and Blizzard developers will be encouraged to ensure that members with diverse perspectives are heard."
The people selected for membership in the group will be able to take part for a period of one year. Applications will then be available once again.
The formation of the council comes at a time when the game's patch 9.1.5 is set to be the catalyst for a number of requests from fans, in what WoW's game director says is the beginning of a "fresh view of the future" in the MMO. It's also amidst the ongoing impact of multiple legal proceedings and investigations that relate to an alleged history of sexual harassment and discrimination from Activision Blizzard.
The process of leveling up characters within World of Warcraft will be quicker in the next two weeks, because Blizzard has announced that the Winds of Wisdom XP boost event is coming back ahead of Shadowlands season 4. The game's next expansion is Dragonflight expansion.
The event will begin today and last until the launch in Shadowlands season 4 on August 2nd, players will get a 50% character XP buff that boosts the amount of experience gained by killing monsters and finishing quests. There are a variety of XP boosts--like from heirloom gear--will be able to stack with this buff, which makes it the perfect opportunity to level new characters.
Blizzard seems to have tailored the event to players who want to start Shadowlands season 4. which will be less crowded than previous seasons and something of an experiment with WOW WoTLK Classic Gold. Shadowlands season 4 is set to include dungeons and dungeons of previous expansions into the season's Mythicand Dungeon lineup for the first time . It will also see adjustments to the earlier Shadowlands raids in order to make them more relevant.
