In a separate post on the forum, Blizzard also announced a 50% XP boost event known as "Joyous Journeys" will be available on Burning Crusade Classic servers prior to Wrath of the Lich King Classic's debut, which can assist players who want to improve their character levels before the expansion's release. Blizzard does not have the exact duration or the date of the start date for the XP boost yet, but expects the event to last for roughly 6-8 weeks before the launch of Wrath of the Lich King Classic. This XP boost will initially be accessible on the launch of the Wrath of the Lich King Classic fresh start servers , which will be available during the game's pre-patch.
