Doi Inthanon National Park

Mae Sariang is a district located in the Mae Hong Son Province of Thailand. The district is home to nine villages, with a total population of 9,968 as of 2005. Mae Sariang is also home to Mae Sariang Subdistrict. Despite its small size, the district is worth a visit.
The town is home to several different ethnic groups. The Shan people, who come from Southern China, have a strong influence on the area. This is visible in the traditional dress worn by women, as well as the food and architecture. Many of the original buildings are still made of wood.
