The winning solution of this year's competition is PreSAGE by CoNex Healthcare, which aims to prevent falls in nursing homes and hospitals. This AI image-based solution works by identifying and tracking deviations in biomarker patterns, indicating the likelihood of a fall.
Another solution that made the top five this year is FxMammo AI, developed by FathomX AI, which aids clinicians in detecting breast cancer from mammograms. Meanwhile, H-Man, a portable intelligent robotic device, marries technology and research. By allowing patients to do rehabilitation exercises from the comfort of their own home, it is aimed at improving patient care.
National HealthTech Challenge
The National HealthTech Challenge in Singapore focuses on technology-enabled solutions to improve the delivery of health services. It provides a platform for professionals and solution providers to showcase innovative solutions and engage in collaborative development and testing of promising healthtech innovations. Applicants will be evaluated based on three clinical adoption themes: screening, diagnosis, and cure.
