An excellent place to start is to determine whether the establishment that you are considering is JCI certified. The most reputable institutions that provide evaluations of clinics and hospitals is Joint Commission International. The hospitals and doctors as you'll soon discover aren't created equal and the majority of patients are unaware to the distinctions.
Commission accreditation is divided into five fundamental categories according to:
A. Clinical Laboratory and Testing: Medical tests and labs B. Hospitals: Institutions and facilities which provide emergency care and laboratory testing medical and psychiatric care C. Ambulatory Care: Clinical diagnosis facilities, Surgical-Centers, dialysis centers, dental care D. Continuous Care: Long-term care, home-based care, hospice, psychiatric treatment, assisted living E.
