As a beauty editor, there are many interesting and exciting components, but just as we like to sit at our desks and browse the latest and best beauty products, there must be more actions in our daily work. Not long ago, my former beauty editor colleague Courtney Higgs and I introduced the most important beauty trends, products and brands in the last quarter in detail. We noticed a very interesting list: the top 20 best-selling skin care brands.
As a beauty editor obsessed with skin care products, our interest has been stimulated to see which brands of WWW readers are hoarding and liking. We immediately started to discuss our favorite brands, our favorite fanatical products (plus some products we don't like), which brands didn't appear on the list, and so on.
Inspired, we decided to turn the dialogue into a guide, listing our readers' favorite 20 skin care brands and one (yes, only one!) product that Courtney and I will buy from each brand. Want to know which products are listed? Keep scrolling! All our necessities and suggestions are ahead.

So far, at this stage of my life, hydration is my primary task in skin care, so hyaluronic acid is my favorite ingredient. It is indeed my favorite material on the earth (except water, of course). There is a very expensive HA essence on the market, but I like the one of The Ordinaries. It is so affordable, so pure, and so effective.
As a person who has been dealing with congestion and acne, weekly exfoliation treatment is essential. Interesting fact: Both my mother and I like this common affordable peel. It is characterized by mixing AHAs and BHAs (from lactic acid, glycolic acid and salicylic acid) that are exfoliated from cells, making my skin look and feel smoother, brighter and clearer.

This small bottle contains two of my favorite makeup removers: micelle water and oil. I like it like double cleaning in a bottle, although I always use traditional cleanser after use.
In order to be completely transparent, I absolutely prefer Glossier's cosmetics series to its skin care products. (I think Lash Slick ($16) is the best eye black ever.) In other words, Balm Dotcom is one of the most popular products of the brand. If I said that I didn't keep a tube of this shiny birthday cake in my makeup bag, I would be lying. I also appreciate that it does not contain coconut oil (many lip products now contain coconut oil!), because it will never make the skin around my lips explode.
- Ludeqing
I know that makeup wipes are harmful to the earth, but I just like them! I'm trying to figure it out, okay? I will not hesitate to snap up this affordable handheld device!
- Drunken elephants
Malula oil is one of my favorite skin care products. Several times a week, I like to pat this luxury oil on my face as the last step of my routine work at night. My skin care procedure is very simple, but I like to try different types of facial mask. This is one of the most iconic products of the brand, basically like facial care in a bottle. Make your skin brighter, tighter and smoother in 20 minutes.

I don't use it religiously now, but it will always occupy a special place in my heart. This is one of the thickest and most nourishing face cream I have ever used. I know you are tired of hearing me say that my skin is prone to acne, but as a person who has tried a lot of spot treatment, these small needle tip patches are one of the only overnight solutions, which actually helps any tip bulge.
