With issues such as long queue times as well as Amazon's Lost Ark Gold localization of Lost Ark, a poor launch does not bode well for the game. However, considering how well Lost Ark has done in its first three years of existence in other countries, this delay should become a bump in the road rather than a foreshadowing of the game's future. Regardless, Amazon is most likely scrambling to launch the game while players sit and wait (patiently or impatiently) for the highly anticipated title.
Lost Ark is making server switching a more interesting option with free items, now that popular servers all seem to have very long queue times.
Set and primed for today's launch, Lost Ark seems to be having a hard time dealing with the sheer number of players attempting to play the game. The Amazon-funded MMORPG has already grown to become one of the most popular games on Steam even before its full release, but the developer, Smilegate, is hoping to get a handle on long server queues in short order.
One of the ways in which Smilegate is attempting to alleviate Lost Ark's launch-day problems is to make server switching way easier for owners of the game's Founder's Packs. Namely, the items contained therein (resources, boosters, titles, etc.) cheap Lost Ark Gold will be provided to players again, as long as they choose to switch from playing on the most popular servers onto the less populated ones, instead.
