The official Twitter account of Diablo 4 Gold recently updated the profile picture of its account and released an update teaser. In it, they warn about the arrival of Lilith as well as pointing to a possible announcement by Blizzard regarding the game in the coming days, which may eventually disclose Diablo 4's release date.

As The Game Awards 2022 showcase only a few days away, publishers and developers are confirming their participation in the event in which they will show new trailers for their upcoming projects. Diablo 4 is one of the titles that many insiders believe would be included in The Game Awards 2022, and now it appears the speculation wasn't in vain.

Every day is more likely that we're going to be receiving major Diablo 4 announcement. In light of the fact that The Game Awards is now just a few days from now, the announcement could be made during the ceremony. Although there's not been any officially confirmed information from Blizzard however, several sources seem to be confident about this.

In the words of Insider Gaming, "this is still the case, with over 100 journalists getting the chance to attend the behind-the scenes presentation aswell being able to get hands-on with the game. The embargo on the event as well as hands-on impressions will end on December 7.

"During the program, Rod Fergusson invited all presenters to view The Game Awards as they'll be [making] some announcements."

Blizzard announced that Diablo 4 is still getting Set Items, though you'll likely have to wait until the day after launch to utilize them in game.

Game Director Joe Shely explains during a recent roundtable interview that the reimagining of sets in a manner that works with Diablo 4 properly wouldn't be possible for launch early next year, but the team is thinking of having them included in their live streaming service.

"As we've been developing the game, we realized like we could evolve sets in a different approach to the ones we've experienced during Diablo 4. However, we wanted more time to bring them into the game in an order that could work perfectly with the rest of Diablo 4, so you aren't going to see them right away on the map," Shely explains. "We believe that sets are amazing, and we'd like to be sure that they're done right - therefore, we're looking towards for live play."

"There's a staff legendary in the demo that turns [the spell] fireball into three fireballs," former director of the game Luis Barriga told Polygon(opens in new tab) in 2019. "The thing that's different is that it's true that a activated spell in the current version of Diablo 4 gives you bonuses greater than a thousand. We're attempting to design the game in the moment to be a little tighter to keep us from getting our players into that hugely escalating power-curve."

If you're not aware, Set Items are generally strong pieces of Cheap Diablo IV Gold gear that offer higher power when put together. They're 'set' as they always provide the same bonuses, and, well they are part of the same set. They first came into play within Diablo 2, though it was in Diablo 4 when they became truly dominant. It remains to be seen how they'll affect how they affect the Diablo 4 meta should they appear, however we have no doubt that their impact on the evolving fashion scene will be greatly felt.
